of her Pokemon OC Amethyst and Riley(DPPt).
Oh my god, I'm such a loser. This took 9 MONTHS for me to finish. 9 months! Meaning I didn't start until a few weeks ago. Yep.
I'm so sorry Jessica! I know you were waiting a while for this commission, and I hope it looks good. My logic stands in that my art has definitely improved since Christmas, so your commission came out really nice! I haven't played with my (babies) markers in a while, so I had the urge to go through yet ANOTHER slight change of style...just slightly, with the face coloring, mostly. I hope you like it!
I noticed something while I was doing this. Coloring is so hard for me because whenever I draw, I do so on a 6x9 in piece of paper. In that respect, the details are often TINY, making it really tricky to color. Especially the faces. I really wish I had more space to work on them sometimes. I mean like, my heads are just a bit bigger than my thumb! Not exactly easily to color. D:
Although it uses up my paper, I'm going to try and force myself to draw on my full piece of 9x12 paper (I usually trim it down to be about 8.5x11, so it fits in my printer) so I can color easier and include more details. I'll give it a shot next time~
Also, another thing. I'm kinda sick of bashing myself when I draw. I do feel strongly about my mistakes, but I get the feeling that I seem to be phishing for compliments; it also makes me sound whiney, childish, and immature. So I'll be much more mild about my self-criticism. I'll let you people notice my flaws for me, since you all say it so much nicer than harsh words I give myself. ;A; I realize that I should just enjoy what I draw, instead of wallowing in every little mistake I make! How silly of me~

Tools: Copic Sketch, Multiliners(I used all three kinds I have this time...Sakura, Copic, and Prismacolor), Gold and White Gel Pen.

Originality Technique ImpactWell, well, where to start? First of all, thanks a lot for making this amazing piece of art for me! It was a worthy wait, definitely!
Everything looks so... so perfect! THOSE HANDS. Really. I can't draw hands to save my life, I'm so jealous!! And you can tell the difference between female hands and male hands... Amethyst's hands look so tiny and graceful... Okay, enough talking about hands. The anatomy also looks perfect! It's a mixture between manga style and realistic style, and I love it! The shape of Amethyst's body is beautiful! You make her look even sexy with all those layers of clothes, haha.
The coloring is simply amazing, I feel in love with Amethyst's hair and the smoothness on her shirt and coat! Riley's jacket looks awesome, gotta love those shades of blue.
And the way you drew their faces is pretty cute! I'm loving this new style of yours.
On the other hand, well, there's nothing to complain about, to be honest. Maybe you kind of exceded yourself with Riley's trousers, but it's not that much of a big deal.
